What is the Helena Spring Fling?

The 2012 Helena Spring Fling will be held ______, with competition taking place at________.  The individual competition will consist of a number Work Outs of the Day (WODs).

The team event will be fun and challenging and with all WODS, sclable.  The teams must be made up of 4 participants (with at least one individual of the opposite sex).

WODs will be announced the day of the competition.

What does it take to participate?

Not much.  Crossfit Affiliate members and non-members are welcome to compete.  Competitor fees (which includes a free T-shirt and food, sweat, blood, tears….of joy) will be To Be Determined.  Team fees TBD

Registration between 7:00am – 8:15am

Competition begins 8:30am

Team Only Competitors must Register by 1:00pm

We will brief the workout, movement standards, and any special rules prior to the first heat for each WOD.  Heat lists will be compiled and posted as we get closer to the competition date.

 Why would I want to participate?

CrossFit Competitions are a lot of fun!  Even if you find yourself frequently scaling workouts or don’t feel you are ready to compete, we want to see you there.  Helena Spring Fling competition will have 3 Divisions – Beginner, Intermediate, and Rx – so there is no excuse not to challenge yourself!!

How do I register?

Easy!  Once we get our shiznit together…

Registration will be closed after 60 Competitors and 10 Teams.

    Do you just need our Helen and 2k row time? And as far as the skills go, I will probably compete in the intermediate. What other factors are determining the divisions? Just curious.
